Your Southern Wander Boudoir experience begins with a complimentary discovery call, where we’ll talk about what inspired you to book, answer your questions, and make sure the experience feels like the right fit for you. Once your session is reserved, I’ll guide you through everything you need to know—from preparing for your session to choosing outfits that make you feel incredible.
On the day of your session, you’ll be pampered with professional hair and makeup before stepping in front of the camera. From there, I’ll guide you through every pose, movement, and expression, so you never have to wonder what to do. Shortly after your session after you've relaxed at the studio or a nearby coffee shop , we’ll come back together for your private image reveal, where you’ll see your finished photographs and select the images and products you love most.
The session fee is $300 and is due in full when booking to reserve your date. Images and products are purchased separately at your private reveal, with options beginning at $900. Most clients invest $1,500 or more in the images and products they love.
Your $300 session fee includes professional hair and makeup with lashes, a 90-minute photography session, personalized wardrobe guidance, full access to the Southern Wander client closet, unlimited outfit changes, and complete posing and facial-expression guidance. You’ll also enjoy a bottle of champagne—with or without orange juice—and a private viewing of your professionally edited images. Digital images, albums, wall art, and other products are purchased separately.
Prior to your session, you can pre-pay toward your collection so you aren’t left with a lump sum due at your ordering appointment. Girl math says YES to this option! You can also pay in full at your ordering appointment or finance your purchase through Affirm or Klarna.
Pre-Pay Your Collection: Begin making payments toward your image collection anytime after booking your session. You can pay at your own pace, but your balance must be paid in full before your private ordering appointment.
Pay in Full: Pay for your image collection in full during your private ordering appointment. Cash and all major credit and debit cards are accepted.
Affirm or Klarna Financing: Split your purchase into manageable monthly payments through Affirm or Klarna, subject to approval. Once approved, your products can be ordered and your digital images can be received immediately—without waiting until the end of your payment term.
Southern Wander Boudoir offers luxury albums, folio boxes, wall art, and digital image collections, along with fun add-ons like ice blocks, peep shows, and custom playing cards. Products are available in a variety of sizes and image quantities, so you can choose exactly what works best for you! During your private ordering appointment, you’ll be able to view all of the options and decide how you want to enjoy your images for years to come.
Your session will take place at my very own private studio—Southern Acres Studio, located in Opelousas, Louisiana! I designed the studio with boudoir photography in mind, which means every inch of the space can serve as the perfect backdrop for beautiful, dreamy, and steamy images.
The Loft at Southern Acres Studio is made up of three main areas: The Mainroom, The Culinary Corner, and The Penthouse. While all areas of the studio serve as stunning backdrops, we’ll spend the majority of your session in The Penthouse. This dreamy upstairs space features a queen-size bed, statement wallpaper, floor-to-ceiling drapery, beautiful sconces, and an antique gold mirror. The studio is also filled with lush plants and greenery that add so much life and beauty to every space!
You’ll have access to our entire client closet, which includes wardrobe options ranging from size small through 3XL. You are welcome to bring your own lingerie, use pieces from our client closet, or do both! We’ll have time for four to five different looks throughout your session.
I always recommend starting in something a little less risqué and working our way up from there. Jeans paired with a sexy bra or a chunky sweater with lace panties are both perfect ways to ease into your session! From there, we can transition into lingerie and end the session wherever your comfort level takes us—whether that means wrapped in the sheets or going fully nude.
If you’re doing this session for someone special, I also recommend bringing something that belongs to them or represents something they love. This could be a work shirt, favorite hat, jewelry, or something connected to one of their hobbies. These personal touches make your images feel even more meaningful and completely unique to you!
Once you choose your images at your ordering appointment, your selected images will be professionally edited and any products purchased will be ordered within one month of your session. Once your order has been placed, delivery times can vary depending on the products you’ve selected.
If you are planning to gift your images or products for a specific occasion, I recommend booking your boudoir session at least two months in advance to allow plenty of time for editing, ordering, and delivery.
On the day of your session, arrive with a clean face, dry hair, and loose-fitting clothing to prevent lines or marks on your skin. Make sure you eat something before arriving—you’ll be moving, arching, and holding poses, so trust me when I say this is basically a workout! Most importantly, give yourself permission to relax and enjoy the experience. I’ll take care of the rest!
Absolutely not! Almost everyone who steps into my studio has never done anything like this before. And I promise you, you will not be the only one walking in as a ball of nerves. But what I can promise you is that within five minutes, those nerves will start to wash away. Confidence isn’t necessarily something you walk into a Southern Wander experience with. However, it is most definitely something you will walk out with!
I’ll be there visually guiding you through every single pose from head to toe. I’ll make adjustments along the way, and we’ll shake off those nerves whenever we need to. Most importantly, I will be your number one hype girl throughout the entire experience!
Your privacy is incredibly important to me, and you will always have complete control over how your images are used. Your photographs will never be shared on my website, social media, or anywhere else without your permission.
You can keep your entire gallery completely private, allow only anonymous images that do not show your face, give permission for specific images to be shared, or allow your full gallery to be showcased only on the platforms you choose. These could include my private women’s-only Facebook group, Google Business Profile, website, or social media pages. Whether you choose to share every image, a select few, or none at all is completely up to you. Your experience is yours, and your answer will always be respected—no questions asked!
